Lexington Orientation Balloon Angels will be starting to deliver balloons to the University of Kentucky Children's Hospital in the very near future. Our target date is February 22, 2007. We are in the process of orienting new volunteers to meet the hospitals policies. We held our second orientation on February 8, 2007 and plan a another orientation later in the month. If you live in the Lexington area and are interested in becoming a Balloon Angel volunteer contact us at (502) 253-0855 as soon as possible!
Cincinnati Orientations Balloon Angels currently working with a couple of possible lead volunteers who will help us start Balloon Angels up in the Cincinnati area delivering balloons to local hospitals in that area. Our goal is to start volunteer orientations in the spring of 2007. If you live in the Cincinnati area and are interested in becoming a Balloon Angel volunteer contact us at (502) 253-0855 as soon as possible!

Lake Forest Yard Sale. We will participate in the Lake Forest Spring Yard Sale next May 2007. In 2006, we raised about $3,000 from our spring and fall yard sales. What a great activity - we take your unwanted items, sell them, and then buy balloons for hospitalized kids - it's a wonderful gift, but WE NEED YOUR STUFF! Some of you have already donated items for the spring sale - but we need more! Call Gina at (502) 253-0855 and we will arrange a time to come to house and pick up the items.
Balloon Deliveries!
• Kosair Children’s Hospital - Approximately 200 free Mylar balloons are delivered to hospitalized children at Kosair Children’s Hospital every Tuesday evening.
• Baptist Hospital East - Approximately 60 free Mylar balloons are delivered to hospitalized children at Baptist Hospital East every Friday morning.
• Home of the Innocents - Approximately 50 free Mylar balloons are delivered once a month to children at Home of the Innocents.
• very soon - University of Kentucky Children's Hospital - Approximately 75 free Mylar balloons are delivered to hospitalized children at UK Children's Hospital every other Thursday evening.
